This past weekend, veteran SPS runner Heather Hoechst took on the grueling Tussey Mountainback 50 Mile Ultramarathon and emerged victorious. Facing a talented field, Heather used her many years of experience of navigating the hilly course to finish in 7 hours 5 minutes and 53 seconds. The time was over a half hour faster than her prior course best.
